East side of The Municipal Buildings (known by the name of it's main hall) - St John's Hall; Offices then, Weights and Measures Office, Police Station and cells, The Fuel Office, and the door to the Borough Engineer and Surveyor's Offices, where all building applications had to be submitted (under Byelaws, before Building Regulations).
