The old wooden bridge ... an extraordinary piece of backward logic and history. Remove a railway crossing that allows free access to the beach; replace it with a timber bridge, that has a ramp on one side, and a dog-leg stairs the other side. Build a cycle path and leave the old bridge as it is, so people have to walk all around down and under then climb up again. And no access for those people with disabilities.
