Here's one from the past, having now taken a bite of the albums; at the bottom of Queen Street, in a large house, The Mr Tresidder lived, and next door up, lived my parents-in-law. Outside here, is the latest state of the art push-chair come pram. It folded up tightly and weighed so little, it was not wide, and the brakes worked more than well, and it did not have masses of plastic bags draped off the back so it fell over when any unattentive mother looked away at her (then non existent) mobile phone; at that time parents devoted their time to their children, personal life took a side step as the more important issue of parenting took over. Our two eldest here 40 years ago. We went everywhere with them, by bus, train or we walked. We were a family.
