Runaway Horse 8

We saw the aftermath of this - it all had a kind of bizarre feel to it. The crumpled car, wreckage of the carriage, wedding guests dotted along the front in their finery and a horse on the prom. We went over to see if the horse was ok and it seemed fine although unsteady and somewhat anxious and there was blood on the back of all its hooves. I don't know if the car driver outside the Queens was ok or not - but the car was severely smashed up in the front. Excellent piece of photo-journalism, denanmor.

Did the horse rear up on a car and try to run over it? Sounds like a potentially very nasty incident. An interesting shot, Den! Well done for being on hand!

so glad that no one was injured, as this could of been a very different story. blimey its not every day a horse bolts leaving carnage behind, did you happen to know if the bride and groom are okay? as I see from one of the pics that the driver of the carriage was sort of holding her back as she was running after the carriage and the horse.

The driver was a he Sparky! It's just that he could have looked HH in the eye... :
Bride and Groom were safe and sound in the Lugger. The horse and carriage was just leaving when the incident occurred...
