Sea rocket (cakile maritima)

A shoreline plant usually found growing on sand or shingle but seen growing among the grass on the clifftop walk between Land's End and Nanjizel on 20th July, 2007
Thanks for the suggestion, duffy, but they re definitely not sea pinks. I know those well and will be putting up some presently. I do wonder if they re what you call sea heath but, if so, the flowers should have 5 petals and not four but maybe that s what they have got but one petal is obscured. It may possibly be some kind of stonecrop variety. But no! Having googled a bit, I have identified it as sea rocket!
