Your camera is pretty impressive, treeve. Was this taken with its 'built in' telephoto option - or did you attach a more powerful telephoto lens? Our cats have been making the most of the recent full moon and have been out all night. Even our old boy, Charlie, but with him, I don't think he's been hunting, more a case of sitting peacefully and reflecting on life, the universe and everything. And what's for breakfast.
Thanks. Nice little camera this, single lens, no attachments possible; zoom range 24 to 750mm. I tried this with a couple of bean bags on the window ledge, to try and get the partly lit edge, where the craters are more pronounced. Tycho and the rays come out quite well. It is sobering to remember that that is what this world would look like if we had no atmosphere (or the moon for that matter), a true symbiosis. Totally interdependent.
I'll bet Charlie had a better answer than 42.
Judging by his general facial expression, I think he probably has, treeve. But for some reason, it would appear he has decided not to enlighten us with such information. I suspect he feels that humans are not worthy of such knowledge. He's never been quite the same since he took a solo trip to visit his paw-pal friend in Tibet ...
