The Drewitts worked on plans for Slades, Pools, and Harveys, as well as Barclays Bank and many others; we worked on this building, I cannot remember whether or not it was new at the time or an older one, but I always knew it as Slades Clock; the building below is now the John Harvey Building though it was a Meadery last time I was in there, displayed were fine armoury. The bank and this building were originally erected for the Harvey empire. Slades workshop was across the road at the quay.
