She s only two numbers away from Ripple - SS19. (Useless fact).

Not at all useless, as it identifies an approximate date for the registration of the vessel; they were not all consecutive, and they got re-used as vessels were scrapped or sold off - which was the reason for devising the Official Number allocation, and later the RSS number came into being for the hull number, both numbers follow the hull wherever and under what name they sail; something like the IMO number for larger vessels. When ON came in first, a great confusion arose, as it was not fully understood that Ports had specific allocations (Apportionments) and they had to be requested officially and that they were specific as a once and once only emplacement on the registers ... I digress ...
