St Clare

Did you ever wonder what was there before St Clare's flats. Well here you are. Supplied by Tommy and Rene Bennetts.
Just looking at the 1:500 scale 1878 OS map, I think this is Nr 47-50 St Clare Street; Pendarves Row was up behind Union Terrace. My great grandmother lived in Nr 49 St Clare Street.

2 of my brothers were born in Pendarves Row, does anyone have a picture of those houses please?

whitegirl, I have posted a picture of Pendarves Row. Don't know if this link will work

If not, look in my 'Old Penzance Scenes album.

She has not been visiting of late, but I had copied her the link in an email a while back so she would not miss it, thank you :)
