Im afraid so, we can have snow right through to april and
it has been known to snow in may...

I remember waking up to a hard frost on the Rec in mid October, possibly in the 80s. I've never known that since.

We built a bonfire during the week of half term end of October about 1973. I can remember there being a very hard frost that had settled on the bits of wood we had collected one morning. Crisp cold autumnal days do now seem to be a thing of the past.
