St Just and Land's End Cancer Campaign Committee, Christmas 'Do #

This was one of the most successful fund-raising districts thanks to flag days at Land's End and the Annual Arts and Crafts exhibition at Cape Cornwall School.
I think this dinner was held at Land's End hotel, but I'm not certain.
I can only name
Betty Hill of Carnyorth, on left below portrait.
Dennis Cargeeg of Botallack Manor standing in front of mirror.
Helen Derrington of Pendeen on the right with a standard lamp apparently worked into her coiffure.
Perhaps others here can provide a few more names.
Recognise Betty and Helen, as you have; the lady to the left of Helen, nearest fireplace looks like Esther Green.

2 gents standing on right Dr Brewer and Ronnie Stephens, in front of mirror Dennis Cargeeg, Clinton Tregear possibly, Douglas Jago (Sennen) seated Mr Addicoat (have to think about his first name)

4 ladies on left Joan Warren, Clara Thomas, Janet Hartles and Freda Jago, Sylvia Stephens in front of Ronnie.

Lady sitting 4th from right could be Dr Brewer s wife. @Chill I thought it was 1967 when it started.

I knew him as ginger Addicoat Ding dong, and I m still trying to think of his real name. He sang in St Just church choir, had a good voice, in his latter years when he couldn t see very well, he would sing the wrong words sometimes, quite loudly too ::17:::12:

I think that s Hazel Phillips sitting left of Sylvia Stephens [as viewed]

@Diane, So did I, always knew him as Ginger, but can t think of his first name. Can recall all his brothers, but not him.
