This picture and mural in St Just Parish Church needs an explanation by an expert but it looks rather Arthurian to me! Thank goodness it was preserved and not plastered over or removed!

Yes, an image of the Crusades, that dragon is said to be a symbol of the Moors and perhaps the city like Jerusalem above is the City of God described in the Bible as a bride coming to meet her husband. Mary. the Virgin Mother of Christ, appears fittingly to be alongside. But I don t really know. Experts please!
