We saw this bird in our back yard early this evening, just before we popped to Lidls, we think its a very young kestrel? but we could be wrong...I dont know my birds!
I do remember seeing one, 25 years ago flying after a group of sparrrows in the back garden, through the trees, like watching a flight of ace pilots in WWI. Self preservation. Never forget that the sparrowhawk has young in the nest back home. A lucky sight and well "caught".
