This was the Challenge Trophy sponsored this time by the Penzance's manager's business in Hayle, I believe, and involved teams from Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield Wednesday, as well as the Magpies. With Penlee Park full of young people, I thought some of the 4-letter expletives from a certain Spurs back when tackled hard by a young Liverpool player were a bit uncalled for!
