Traffic jam at Ross bridge; not surprising really as the bridge is 'open' and dismantled down to the basic steel frame, up on jacks and is now enshrouded with scaffolding and a protective structure for the work to continue. The road is a worksite premises and is full of offices and stores, with equipment and deliveries. It must have taken quite a lot of consideration in today's Planning and HSE society. 1st February 2009.
