The Fountain Tavern

The Fountain Tavern in 1920's, My great Grandfather Charlie Wills then Landlord of the The Fountain Tavern standing in front of horse in bowler hat, boy on cart my Great uncle Stanley Wills, he was tragically killed at the age of 16 when he fell down the trap door to the cellar at the Fountain.
Picture kindly supplied by Sean Wills
My father spoke of poor young Stanley; I would guess that many of the youngsters there were members of my Jasper family, if not Fry members. They were all from Bullock Market Terrace, and Prospect Place around the corner.

@treeve This message is for Sparky, so pleased to see this photo, Eliza Davey Wills my GGgrandmother was C Wills sister. She came out to NZ. Rio
