This shows the small float bearing a statue of Our Lady, the Mother of God, and carried by a few male parishioners. The procession each May to honour Mary was on a small scale compared with Spanish and Italian celebrations of the same. Nevertheless, it was a small but attractive procession in the town each year as was the Corpus Christi one in June. Neither is held any longer
