I remember the first time I took this step around the rocky corner here as a boy when my heart began to beat fast at the possibility of falling. It looks nothing but one's backside sticks out over the edge and it is necessary to keep flat to the face of the rock. This was to get down to the cave. Note the fulmar petrel gliding across in front of the cave. Once upon a time they were rare but since about 1960 they have colonised this cliff.
