Dr Peggy Pollard (right), a Cornish bard whom I once met in a Cornish Language/ religious connection, was one of 'the Ferguson Gang' that fought against development of the Cornish coast in the 1930-50s and made safe this portion of the Mayon Cliff at Sennen where the rock the Irish Lady may be seen, by the group's anonymous donation.
