The Thrifty LT152 was a steam Drifter and I sailed on her in 1952 fishing from Newlyn, fishing for mackerel in the western approaches ie off the Bishop Rock etc.

Built 1916 by Godreeders Leidersdorp as Steam for Dutch owners, named Baltic, registered IJM 225.
1919 sold to Belgians and renamed Fernando; 1928 became Dutch owned IJM 154 Limburgia;
1929 bought by S Allerton and Frederick Spashett, renamed Thrifty LT 152;
[went through various parts of the company, including Kittiwake and Small and Co]
1939 Requisitioned by the Admiralty as a minesweeper FY 1523; 1940 based at Portland; Took part in Operation Dynamo;
1946 returned to owners;
1955 converted to diesel; 1960 sold to Alvis Trawlers of Fleetwood FD 201, 1967 renamed Catherine Shaun;
1968 owned by White Fish Authority; 1971 sold off for scrapping.
