Sorry ChrisTru I should have explained what I was doing with this image in the description (no doubt one of the administrators will tell me off soon laugh# ) This picture was taken using the camera's bracketing system. I took three images. The first was -1 exposure the second correctly exposed and the third +1 exposure. I then used a piece of software called Photomatrix to extract the channels and I was able to give the picture a less synthetic look. The process is known as HDR. I'm new at it but intend to write up a comprehensive how to once I know myself.
HDR seen this already mentioned on here by Planet Penwith, he done a pic the other day as he was allowed to stand in someones driveway and he took a picture of accross the bay. :: 15:
Ok thanks for that, at first sight it looked like a graduated filter had been added, I'm familiar with HD, i have tried a couple of pics myself with the effect.I set myself a little task of taking pics of all the pubs in the area last year, (that's what led me here, a pic taken by John Gendall if I remember) I'd really like to take a pic of the Yacht Inn without cars outside though!! (Think that's possible?)
