Can you just imagine the guy inside, pulls chain ... strewth, that s some powerful cistern . ::15: Really that is powerful - to catch the effects of the wind carrying water. Wow !!
 
Terrific photo tpp. Had I been there I should have been safely inside the Dock Inn or The Dolphin I think.
 
Thanks, Chill! It'll be interesting to see how the new Scillonian passenger centre, if approved by the Regional Govt. Dept., will stand up to such force and whether the rock armour will disperse such waves. Modern structures generally look so grotty after a bit of weathering; in fact, they tend to look grotty, full stop!
 
Just been reading in old texts that the earliest granite in Penzance came from Ludgvan. It has a glorious golden brown colour.
 
Ford Cortina Mk II (white) and Ford Capri (not sure which variant).
