if you look on the sign on the wall of the farm it is rowes farm this was my auntie flos farm she married william worth
in 1901 i new her very well and went there to get apples from the farm and look at the milking cows i am doing a
family tree and i have researched florence rowe back to the 1881 census but i got a long way to go
I remember Willie Worth, and as I ve said before on here, my family always called it Willie Worth s Cottage .
Not sure I ve noticed the sign saying Rowe s Farm.
The wall sign states Tredarvah Farm, not Rowe s Farm. In the 1880s it was Luke Rowe s Cottage, became renamed in 1908 as Tredarvah Farm, acquired the name farm although it was really a smallholding; if you search for tredarvah farm on this site you will see other older pictures of this building, with some notes on it. I have a list of owners back to 1840.
