I wasn't that surprised to see this shop close after the proprietor at the time was reported in the Cornishman newspaper article. The article claimed that he stole £750 from a church and had previous criminal record for Ebay fraud.
The Cash Exchange closed down over 12 months ago now and moved back to Camborne. They specialised in caching cheques.
This shop is now occupied by an unknown and seems to have opened over the weekend. March 2012
Not sure how many years this store was here but it closed last week (March 2012). As the name suggested it sold sports wear. Previously this was a lingerie and before that Blewitt and Penders motor cycle showroom.
Been here for many years. Previously sited in Causewayhead where Rowes bakers are now (their trading name I forget) previously they were in the Pearl building now known as Wetherspoon's.
Closed summer 2011 The phone box was a shop that offered to buy your old second hand phone. It closed and moved sever shops after.
