This photo of the Dry Dock with the tide high was taken at the time of the Queen's Silver Jubilee. The new Scillonian had only just been put into service, I think since I have a photo taken a little while later in June which shows Scillonian II and Scillonian III going in opposite directions...
Scillonian III. She is not only a lifeline to the Isles of Scilly, she is a reason for travelling to Penzance, generating life and income to the area. Not only that but her graceful lines as she crosses the bay add pleasure and interest; this Bay is alive.
