From left to right - Christopher George Ludlow (1918 - 1999, my Uncle), Mrs Hayes, John Edmund Ludlow (1919 - 2006, my father), Christopher Ludlow (1877 - 1959, my Grandfather), Beryl Hayes and Jenny Langwill Riddell (1883-1969, my grandmother).
The legend has it that an Irish boat foundered here and an Irishwoman, one of the passengers on board, clung to this rock for days before sadly, she failed to be rescued. An evocative tale and backed up by this coastal view!
