BEECH TREE R.I.P. NOV., 2012 - PENLEE PARK

The death of a beech tree (120 years old) during the last week and it was not the current die-back ash disease that did it but some other fungus or fungal disease. See link:

I'm surprised the Welsh have been allowed to get away with sending the Dai Bach disease over here!!!..........somebody should pay!!
 
Good grief, Chris, I was slow then, thinking that you knew of some Welsh beech fungal disease that I didn't! I feel quite ash-amed!
