£16 million claimed after currency firm collapse

    8 thousand claims have been lodged for money lost
    It's been revealed that more than 16 million pounds is being claimed following the collapse of Crown currency exchange.

    The Hayle based finance company went into administration at the beginning of October.

    Administrators say they have so far received more than 8 thousand requests from former customers.

    The amounts the company dealt with in individual transactions ranged from £100 to £100,000
