Just the other side of the little bridge, the path rises to Higher Trannack Farm, one of the farms that I spent many an hour exploring, whilst my father worked there. To see that the paving cobbles remain is quite amazing. All of our country hill paths were paved in this way once. These date from pre-Charter days, and I am pleased to see that they have survived the insane HSE madness that is nannying our lives. Another few generations and we will have forgotten common sense and genuine respect.
