Well I did wonder when I saw it if Raster had moved on from balancing stones to balancing metal! But on closer inspection, it was buried into the stones, but how far down it went, I'm not sure.
There used to be several sets of steps with railings down to the sea on Tolcarne beach that I can remember years ago. Over the years they have been washed away and not replaced.
I did wonder if perhaps the shingle had been washed away, exposing this in its original position, rather than someone coming across it elsewhere and actually placing it here?
