I think it is wonderful what can be achieved through the concentration of qualified people earning lots of money that the public contributes under threat of lawful persecution, working together using technology and materials that signify the advancement of science and society, using labour and engineering precision, as to the final conclusion of this tour de force over many months of extended effort on work, and the result is not even half as good as the original outfall of this ancient brook, as it found its way to the shore, unhindered.
Perhaps another three concrete segments and it would have been clear of the shingle bank, would not have been a pretty site though, unlike the old footbridge. So many people shook their heads as they went by.
