Thank you Tom and tabtab13. I see only four names and one question mark for the back row - there are six individuals. Can you please confirm that B. Jeckells is 3rd from left on the back row. Which position on the back row is the other unknown?
I've heard back and my dad says from memory, it's Paul Doggerell standing to his right, Derek Chapel (single L) did in fact become a policeman, and Carter's Christian name was Neil. He also thinks the lad bottom far right (as we view the picture) might be Bobby Vingo.
Agree identifications above re Paul Doggerell (2nd from left back row) and Bobby Vingoe (far right front row). Here are two more: Back row, 5th from left is David Lawry; front row 3rd from left is Pert Tanner. Alan Pilkerton (mentioned above) is back row far right.
