Feast Day, The Queen's Arms, Breage (June, 2004)

Feast Day, The Queen's Arms, Breage (21st June, 2004)
So far, I have 80 odd photos in my loosely-termed 'Penwith Pubs and Inns' collection. Just to make sure you're looking at some of them, a quiz: 1) Which of the pubs I have photographed shows that Curries can be taken away? 2) Which pub has a photograph of St Ives Station when it had two tracks? 3) Which pub have I photographed with a man walking past in a padded gilet? 4) Which pub has a chess piece on its wall? 5) Which two pubs have I shown with wells in their interior? 6) Which pub has two lantern lights affixed to its façade?

1 Trevelyan Arms Goldsithney 2 Bucket of Blood Phillack 3 The Tremenheere Penzance 4 Kings Arms Paul 5 The Angel Helston & Bucket of Blood Phillack 6 Harbour Inn Porthleven

Your answers must be under the correct photo, not here, PZS! (See the description to the first picture with the Logan Rock inn sign!) Otherwise the answers may have been given away though not all of them are correct as you will discover later, hopefully when others have had an opportunity of looking. However, I can't fault your enthusiasm, PZS! Thanks and well done for having a go but how can I get others to look this way?

Never mind, PZS, nobody else seems interested enough to try so thanks for taking an interest! Your answers to 1, 2 and 4 are right, 5 is half right (ie the Angel), but 3 is not the Tremenheere, and 6 is not the pub I meant as yours (The Harbour Inn, Porthleven) has more than two lanterns.

OK, so since nobody else is answering, I'll try the q's I got wrong: 3 Harbour Inn Porthleven 5 No idea! 6 Trevelyan Arms Goldsithney has two puny lanterns outside

3 is right now, PZS. The chap with the padded gilet was outside the Harbour Inn, Porthleven. The other pub which has a well in its interior - besidees the Angel, Helston that you've already mentioned is the First & Last Inn, Sennen. I shall tell you the answer to No. 6: The pub I meant with the two lanterns was the Star Inn, Newlyn.
