Fire Market Jew Street Inside Possibly

Fire Market Jew Street Inside Possibly - this was with the other picture which is clearly labelled Fire Market Jew Street - but I can't be certain that it is the same - date, age, colouration would leave me to believe they are.
Lot of machine tools here, which I doubt were a part of the terrace shops. More inspection needed for this; I have a little info on the other picture somewhere. What a find.

Looking further at the notes my Uncle Christopher wrote he has this as fire in a store on harbour road (or wood) - his writing did look like a spider had crawled over the page!

I used to have to work with a so-called architect who employed (or so we thought) three trained spiders to draw and to write for him; there were occasions when it appeared the three spiders had had a rather unkempt and bawdy night before coming to work. I will look over the picture in comparison with the 1936 OS map.

Isn t that Abbey Slip top right ::1: And this scene of fire would be Hanover Court today. (Harbour side a few hundred feet from Ross bridge)

If that was Abbey Street top right, then there would have to be Richard Oxnam s house to its left, and in the skyline of the trees would be the National School of 1834, etc. I think this is likely to be off the Wharf Road, yes. But I need to check the 1875 against the 1936.
