Isolation Hospital

The map to show where the Isolation Hospital was sited, at the top of the hill at Alverton; just by Mount Misery. It was also known as the scarlet fever hospital, so my uncle said, and not all people there were ill, but often just suspected cases, and were there for the duration of the normal course of a fever, until it was sure to be over. I have never seen a picture of the building. This Ordnance Survey Map dated 1936.
I was a patient there about 1934. had scarlet fever I vaguely remember being put into a horse drawn ambulance

Do you have anyy recollection of what the building looked like, and what was inside? My uncle used to speak of the horse drawn ambulances.

From what I see, it appears that you were very young then; There is no information on this hospital, just clutching at straws.
