Levant Mine Engraving

Levant Mine Engraving
Engraved by W Willis of Penzance and produced by Mr Besley, no less; this has to have been seen by small boat by Mr Willis, sketched at sea, and then finished at the bench; I have a few such engravings, but I have not seen this one before. We have a mining fraternity of enthusiats here that will be fascinated with this.

I found it in a whole set of mining documents - it appears that Edmund Ludlow (1835-1904) was an Adventurer ie owned shares in Carnyorth Mine which then became Botallack. Happy to scan and share the documentation with anyone interested.
