Looks as if the gentleman is carefully pointing it out to us all. I spent years studying letters and the spacing between them, as a part of my work, setting out work to be cut into Granite and York Stone, as well as working on other designs for Church Tracery for windows.
Those days have unfortunately gone, and now drawings are prepared by a computer driven pad (and they have no finesse or expression).
