How right you are Treeve, today one has to leave town to do thier shopping - the super markets killed off the family owned shops and the idiots running the show call it progress ?
Ahh, Halcyon Days how right you are Treeve. They will never come around again so I guess we, as in those who lived them, should celebrate and try to imbue the new generation with our ethics. (Boy will THAT be a job!!)
To be honest, part of our problem is that when we were young, we had an innocent childhood, we were allowed to grow through being children, youngsters, youths and gradually into adulthood; now there is the spectre of look at what can happen to you , and the other well meant educational techniques ... all of a sudden, there is the jump from infanthood into a totally inexperienced adulthood.
I get it s a generation thing ... Tosh, it is a paranoia thing from the other side of the fence.
