My great Grandmother used to own the boarding house next door

laugh# New Street. Yes i remember it well i remember the Knights in No.1. That house belonged to my Granmother Ada Bottrell.i was born in that house 1943 many moons ago. i also remember the stables at the back of the Star which is now a bar. Thanks, Brian. It s nice to be remembered now and then. I remember those stables too, with a coach there now and then. I used to play with a tennis racket or a football just under the open roof that joined our house to the Star yard and well I recall the stink of horse pee! sad# laugh#
