Parkers.

Found hanging on a wall at the property I was working at. It was purchased by the owner in an auction at Lays.
I have doubts about it being an Australian picture; most companies here are Pty Ltd and not Co Ltd . Just a thought!

Thanks, if the photo is not here it's spooky as I can remember the opway as per this photo.

It may well be the original property of a manager (or even owner) of a previous firm in perhaps Bristol or Manchester, and he moved to this area. One specific clue would be the registration number for the small lorry ... does anyone have an idea of the lorry manufacture model? The lettering on face and the style of architecture, dates approximately 1947-9. What irks is that someone in some far off city would greatly appreciate this picture, as being a lost piece of their history. It would be worth solving this one.

Just tried to enhance the original photo I took, but unable to read the reg as it's in the dark and you lose the resolution.

I will have a go at the lorry model; the other possibility is to track the occupants of the house in which it was found - perhaps Lays are able to offer any help?

I don't know how long ago it was when it was purchaesd to be able to date it for Lays.

My guess is a Morris 1947/8 as the lorry. The lamp bracket across the nose is lower down than I would expect. Any thoughts anyone, please?
