The Leedstown bus

At the bus stop at the bottom of Penalverne Drive, this bus picture (supplied by Tommy Bennett's) shows a Grenville bus. The buses were coloured red and white. Grenville buses got their name because they had their garage in Grenville in Troon. Later the garage was relocated to Leedstown.

      What memories come flooding back, we called these buses Auntie Annie s Buses as we traveled on them to visit her in St Hillary. ::15:
