The shocking deaths section seems familiar. Each Christmas people die from choking on food that wasn t properly chewed. Although the poor girl who fell on a fire was very unfortunate indeed.
 
Interesting to see the report about Madron parish being sued because they hadn t repaired the sea road between Penznace and Newlyn after the great storm of Oct 7 1880. The remains of the old sea wall/road can still be seen today. At some point New Road was constructed, much further back from the seashore.
