I know most of the faces in this photograph as I used to go along with my dad to the canteen and to the Christmas parties that my dad organised. I can t put names to many of them but I can see Charlie Guy 3rd from left middle row (used to be the Father Christmas) Tiny Maddern in front row

Once again my mum remembers many of these faces as my dad was a bus driver back then.

back in the early fifties the average winter roster consisted of 120..60 drivers and 60 conductors, public transport existed then !!
