I saw this while visiting a chum who used to live in Heamoor down by the brook.

Heamoor Infants School. Here it still had the weather vane tower that actually provided ventilation within the building. The one on the senior school was removed long ago. That one had a weather vane on the top.

Heamoor County Primary School in the past had a large weather vane on the top of a ventilation tower on top of the roof.
