One of those moments you come across every now and again when out with your camera - there are many photos of the Jubilee Pool but you rarely see it empty and under renovation. So, I saw this as a different take on a familiar scene, something I'm always on the look out for when out and about...

Supplied by Ron and Tricia James. This delightful picture shows how much Penzance relied on the Jubilee pool. Everyone went there. In fact the kids spent all day at the pool.

Taken in 1978 this was and still is today, Jubilee Poll. Yep it had a slide and was a very popular place to be seen.
