Midsummer parade 1971 returning up Church Road. Rev Edward Marsden can be seen here and behind him the Sunday School children who really earned their tea-treat by following the band around the parish to Portheras Cross, Lower Boscaswell and Trewellard if I recall correctly.

I can't remember the date this was held; it was their anniversary rather than midsummer like Pendeen and St Just. Sorry about the discolouration, the best I could manage with a mouldy old slide.
