Its a Boots Super Deluxe 8.
I've been lent it to transfer a film of St Mary's School 1967 to DVD but the projector side wasn't secured properly so I took a snap before fitting it back on.
Normally you would be expected to change the bulb or to replace the drive belt that snapped more times than I had hot dinners.
Took me a while to thread it. The film was all jumpy and I remembered that the film had to have a loop before the heel or this would happen.
I haven't played with one of these for 30 years

Well here is someone who never had a film projector (stand by with tissues)....

I never had one but worked a few, it was only when I was trying to work out the drives and the hint of families and summer that it clicked.

@ well done. This film I have started to convert shows a very old Swebline van parked up in St Mary's Street...
I'll post the video up as soon as I've compressed it and all that stuff
