I listened to the last link and found the lady a very good vocalist - Turkish, I guess - and the song was very well-recorded and backed and easy listening but I found the melody didn't really go anywhere.
While we are being international, how about trying Lolita Flores, from a tried and tested flamenco background. Her mother was the famous Lola Flores. When I was in Spain for the year between 1975 and 1976, the following song made its mark on me.

Real good music. The track you refer to is on the 2000 Album "No More Fish Jokes" a live album recorded in Denmark.
