I listened to the last link and found the lady a very good vocalist - Turkish, I guess - and the song was very well-recorded and backed and easy listening but I found the melody didn't really go anywhere.

While we are being international, how about trying Lolita Flores, from a tried and tested flamenco background. Her mother was the famous Lola Flores. When I was in Spain for the year between 1975 and 1976, the following song made its mark on me.
