THE LESCUDJACK SCHOOL STAFF ASSOCIATION
Following invitations from Mr Terry Tonkin to the members of the old Lescudjack School Staff, about twenty members met at the Longboat Hotel, Penzance, en Friday, 0 November 1984 at 8.00 pm for the purpose of forming an Association.

After the enjoyable Staff Dinners held over the years, and the more recent Presentations and Farewell Occasions to School and Staff, it was felt by many that the ethos and spirit of the Lescudjack School was something to be remembered and cherished and, as one member put it:
"We were privileged to teach in the atmosphere of Lescudjack School."
The meeting approved the following:
1 The Association be called THE LESCUDJACK SCHOOL STAFF ASSOCIATION.
2 The object of the Association is to maintain the spirit and fellowship of the old Lescudjack School.
3 Membership subscription to be £1.00 per year, due in January each year, this subscription to include the member's spouse.
4 The following officials were elected:

Mr V ¥ Cock - Chairman Mr J R Owens - Vice-Chairman Mrs M Cresswell - Secretary/Treasurer
5 The first social get-together will be an informal Hot Buffet Supper at the Longboat Hotel, Market Jew Street, Penzance, on Friday, 1 February 1985.

As you were closely associated with Lescudjack School, you are invited to become a member of this newly-formed Association, by completing the tear-off slip below and returning it to the Secretary, and we look forward to seeing you again.
