PARC WARTHA HOUSING SCHEME.
The Housing Committee of the Town Council of this Borough invites Tenders for the Erection, of 58 Working Class Houses on the Parc Wartha Estate, St. Clare, Penzance, and the Construction of Roads, Sewers, Water Supply Mains, Etc., in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the undersigned to whom sealed tenders endorsed "Parc Wartha Housing Scheme" are to be delivered on before Monday, 24th March 1930, The Scheme has been divided for the purpose of tendering as shown in the lay out plan in accordance with the Form of Tender and Contract to be filled in and submitted by Tenderers.
22 Parlour Houses.
8 Non-Parlour 3 Bedroom Houses and 8 Non-Parlour 2 Bedroom Houses.
10 Non-Parlour 3 Bedroom Houses and 10 Non-Parlour 2 Bedroom Houses.
Roads, Drainage, Water Supply and other works. Plans and specifications may be seen, and Forms of Tender and Contract and other particulars obtained upon application to the undersigned on payment of a deposit of £2. 2s. od., which, will be returned upon receipt of bonafide tender.
March 1930 saw the formal opening of the Parc Wartha Estate.
